How To Improve Students’ Well-Being

As a student, many factors can influence your well-being. Student well-being is defined as a state of physical, mental, and emotional health that enables you to function effectively in everyday life and reach your full potential both academically and personally. It includes influences such as healthy eating, exercise, good sleep habits, stress management, positive relationships with friends and family, and a sense of purpose and meaning.

Today what we are going to do is to explore some practical strategies that can help improve student well-being.

Get enough sleep

Lack of quality and quantity of sleep has been linked with poorer academic performance, higher stress levels, and an increased risk for depression. Aim for 8 hours per night and create a consistent bedtime routine that includes winding down activities before bed such as reading or listening to music.
